The Maytronics Dolphin Liberty 400 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner for South African residential pools up to 10 by 5 metres. It cleans floors, walls and the waterline on a 1.5 hour cycle, is retrieved with the Click-Up clicker and charges by Magnetic Connect induction. It is run-out stock, replaced in the range by the Dolphin EON 120d.
A 5 000 mAh lithium-ion battery, a 1.5 hour cycle and Magnetic Connect inductive charging. The charger clicks into place; you do not thread a lead out to the machine.

With a cordless machine there is no cable to pull it in by, so getting it out is a real problem rather than a detail. Click-Up brings it up the nearest wall when you shake the supplied clicker in the water, and it parks itself at the end of a cycle.

An all-terrain brush with CleverClean scanning, climbing walls and scrubbing the scum line rather than just working the floor. You can also set it to floor-only when that is all the pool needs.

Three 30-minute cycles a week on a schedule, so the pool is kept rather than rescued. That is a different way of owning a cleaner from running a full cycle when the water already looks wrong.

Magnetic Connect is inductive: the charger clicks into place and you walk away — no cable to run out to the machine and none to coil up afterwards. The whole point of a cordless cleaner is that nothing crosses the paving, and a trailing charge lead would undo that.
